At this pre-birthday meet & greet at a hotel in Mumbai on Thursday, Aamir Khan shocked fans and the press by introducing his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. The celebrity, who will turn 60 on Friday, took Gauri to meet with the reporters that were there and even took a few questions about her.
Gauri Pratt is who?
Gauri is a native of Bangalore. Gauri, who has spent nearly her entire childhood in Bangalore, is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who ran a salon there. Gauri attended Blue Mountain School and completed FDA Styling & Photography, a fashion course at the University of the Arts, London, in 2004, according to her LinkedIn page. According to her LinkedIn profile, she also operates a BBlunt salon in Mumbai at the moment.
Gauri acknowledged to the public on Thursday that she is currently collaborating with Aamir at his production company. Gauri has known Aamir for twenty-five years and has a six-year-old child. They began dating eighteen months ago.
How Aamir and Gauri have concealed their romance for so long
The most shocking revelation Aamir made on Thursday was that he and Gauri have been dating for eighteen months. Aamir joked with the media, “Dekha kuch bhi pata nahi chalne diya maine tum logo ko” (See, I did not let you catch a wind of this), while describing themselves as “committed.” Rumors and the occasional unsubstantiated allegation have circulated that Aamir was seeing someone outside of the industry. However, few people were aware that one of India’s biggest movie stars had dated someone for eighteen months.
